With the Upside Down, Carsten Jörgensen was inspired by the shape of a light bulb or a drop. If you look at the luminaire from the front, it looks like a two-dimensional sheet of paper, but if you look at it from below, the curved surfaces between the frames create a surprising effect, like a screw, but through which a surprisingly even light is produced. This is how the name Upside Down came about.
The Upside-Down Cocooning luminaire can be used as a single luminaire, for example in the corner of a room. We particularly like it when it is multiplied, hung in a cluster or group.
We deliver the luminaire fully assembled with 4 m cable, light source, a white canopy made of white powder-coated metal and a white metal cable deflector. The cable is white as standard.
